Hi, I'm Jeremy
I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering student at the University of Victoria. Engineering is a great passion of mine. I often find myself dreaming up projects I want to tackle, questioning how various mechanical devices work, and building/designing things that interest or help me.
My interest in engineering began as a kid building things with Lego, Tinker Toys, Meccano sets, etc. In high school I was able to take my passion for designing and building into my robotics club and class, wood shop, and metal shop. I worked really hard throughout high school to get good grades and make it into the engineering program at UVic. Now that I am here I have been learning what it takes to become a real engineer, through classes and through the UVic Formula Racing Club.
As I complete my degree I hope to build my skills in design and manufacturing to one day land an exciting career. I currently have my eyes set on automotive aerodynamics due to my strong interest in performance cars.
