Below is a list of various completed and ongoing engineering design projects, click on the underlined titles for a detailed rundown.
Completed Projects
Custom Rear Diffuser V2
Taking advantage of 3D printing and 3D scanning technology, I created a custom rear diffuser for my vehicle's rear diffuser. Gaining a more aggressive appearance and improving airflow. The final product has withstood over 2 years of driving in all weather conditions. Click the title for the full write-up. |
Watertight Capsule Having fun with my 3D printer with a simple and useful item while learning how to work with FDM 3D printing tolerances, material performance, and characteristics. |
Custom Rear Diffuser Project
Custom designed and manufactured rear diffuser for my 2013 Mazdaspeed3 for an improved and more aggressive appearance.
Quick Hacks of the Week (QHotWs)
This section is for my small projects aka QHotWs.
Ongoing Projects
Branch Ergo Chair Modifications
Re-engineering and modifying my desk chair for improved adjustability, comfort, and support. Using both conventional re-engineering and 3D scanning in order to design new parts and components. |
High School Robotics Club
Throughout grade 10-12 I participated in my school's robotics club, in which we competed in many VEX Robotics tournaments held around BC. Throughout this time our teacher had us keep a portfolio of what we did, which can be found at https://jeremybssrobotics.weebly.com/. I suggest reading the 98549B Journal section, this is a journal I created documenting the design and performance of our robot throughout our grade 12 year. Another very short read is my Drag Car CAD Model, this was a design I made fully in CAD when school went online, while creating the model I learned how to use the joints features in Fusion 360 in order to show the motion of the steering mechanism.
